Italy is such an interesting place to visit. I've never seen larger monuments or churches before seeing the Duomo in Milan and even just the shopping centers. Although I've only been to one city, I wasn't expecting the difference in culture compared to other European countries. It's definitely worth the visit. It seems like a classic place to visit, but I had never been before this year. The people might not have been as friendly as some, but to be fair I didn't learn much Italian.
Milan
Milan might have been the busiest city I've visited yet. It had more energy than any place I've seen before. The Quadrilatero della Moda and the Duomo di Milano were stunning. I was so glad I had brought multiple lenses with me for this trip. Even the flight was impressive, as we flew over the Alps and got to see the mountains from above. I hope to be able to see them up close someday, I'd definitely have more photos to add after a trip like that. Milan is a city that captures the imagination and leaves a lasting impression on all who visit.
